will a non pi supercharger fit on a a pi egine

i have no idea at all i found a 1997 with a 4.6 sohc i have to replace a head gasket and was just goin to through some pi heads on there and would like to know if it would work

Is this to swap into your V6 or as an additional car?

If you have the PI heads/intake, it's easy just to buy the blower set up for that car. The positive displacement blowers are head specific (SVO, Roush, FRPP blowers for the non-PI heads where the Tork Tech set up is for the PI heads).

i found a 1997 mustang 4.6 sohc with a bad head gasket a baby bottle and a s/c for CHEAPPPPP just wondering if could swap heads when im in there and if the supercharger would work

p.s. the cars ugly thats y i want paint

So you found a non-pi mustang GT for sale with a stock engine and the previous ownder had a blower and nitrous on it?

I'd say he found a '97 GT with a blower and nitrous that has a bad motor... and he's wondering if he should swap to PI heads while he's rebuilding the motor.


I'd suggest porting the non-PI heads and not stepping up the compression ratio with the swap if you want to keep running the blower.
