Starting Issues, Car wont stay running on its own, and major knock
#21
Rebuild motor, rebuilt motor, used lock block, built long block, 4v swap, built 4v swap....ect ect ect.
Anything 4.6l with bolt right in with little to no modifications needed. (except for the 3v from 05-10[?] and the new coyote 5.0)
I'm also assuming your car is a manual, if so your dad is dead wrong on it being the transmission. I'm assuming you have diven the car, and with that being the case if the transmission was messed up enough that it WERE causing these issues you could not drive it 10 feet.

ok so im pulling the motor out asap and would like some info on possible plans. once i tear down my current motor ill know if im just fixing or rebuilding. if i do rebuild it i wanna buy another motor until i finish so first off will any 4.6 ford motor bolt right in. also if i find a 4v motor will i have to swap anything else out. and last if i rebuild my 2v, can i swap everything over to a 4v with a charger system, what needs to be upgraded, and about how much should i expect the final cost to be for me to do it myself
