Car shuts off while cruising to a stop in neutral
inb4 its your IAC/TPS no it isn't i already replaced both of them and it hasn't fixed the problem.
I was wondering if there were any other factors that could be causing this problem? bad tune maybe? Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Endrance

clean the maf maybe. also make sure you dont have any vacuum leaks. You have any issue with normal idle? Lastly, i have that problem now, but its because i have a lightened flywheel, and haven't tuned the problem out. doesn't always die but the idle does drop fast, sometimes killing the car. I suppose a desperate attempt, could be sticking egr valve, but its likely if your idling fine that isnt it, they usually get stuck open , meaning the problem would be prominent during idle

Yes it does idle fine. It only happens while the car is in motion in neutral, even if I don't apply any brake pressure. I'll definitely clean my MAF to see if that helps. Thanks.

Yup, speedo is working just fine. In fact I just gauged myself because i have one of those things that clocks your speed with the area speed limit right above it on my way home. It was right on point with my speed before it started blinking "SLOW DOWN!"

One possibility is that the throttle stop screw need to be adjusted--here is the procedure for doing so.
Another possibility is that tune settings for the 160°F thermostat have not been properly set. That is a very low temperature unit (I do not recommend going below 180° unless there is some specific need) and it may require that the various ECT related idle settings be tweaked--but frankly I'd ditch the 160° thermostat and get a 180°...

I had this same problem with my car and it ended up being my
egr valve but from the research I did people said it's either IAC which I replaced and it did nothing, Then I tried the pcv because it was the cheapest, that also did nothing. So then I changed the EGR and it was an instant fix, Haven't had an idle issue since, and it was super easy to replace used a 10mm deep well socket for the two bolts holding it on and a cresent wrench for the pipe going into the side of it. Hope this helps.
