Default tokico illumina rear shocks - top washer doesn't fit on shock tower

I installed Tokico Illumina shocks on the rear of my 2000 GT, and the washers that came with are too wide and do not fit ontop of the shock towers in the trunk.

I would normally just replace it with a smaller washer, however these are special angled washers that are more of a hat-shape. Anyone know where to get smaller replacements from to fit the car?

Thanks

The original washers do not fit the threaded portion, neither do the ones from my QA1 shocks.

Here are pics of the issue including a 5/16" galvenized washer I am using for now from Lowes:

Unfortunately I did. I will need to compound and polish that bumper soon however.

Is there supposed to be two bushings on the shock, one below the shock tower and one above? I only have one below...
