I think this is one of those "if you have to ask that you should probably hand it over to a mechanic" type of questions.

Try www.americanmuscle.com or www.latemodelrestoration.com. I ordered my 3.73s thru Late Model Resto, and ordered the complete kit, for only 259.00. The only thing the kit didn't come with are the friction plates for the Limited Slip Diff. But, the Friction Plates you may not need anyway for most applications. Not sure they still have the complete kit set up though.

Gears---install bearing/seal kit-----fluid----axle bearings (why not change them while you are there?)---someone that knows what the f%^$ they're doing!

I also installed a new diff cover (ford racing) and upgraded the limited slip discs to carbon fiber (cobra type).

1998Slow 'Stang is right, if you have any reservation at all, leave it to a seasoned professional.

As 03gt04mach1 indicated we do still have you covered with a complete gear kit for only 259.99. It includes Ford Racing Gears, a full bearing & shim kit, friction modifier, & Royal Purple gear oil. Depending on the mileage of your car, you may also consider rebuilding the traction lok. We have the OE type clutch rebuild kit as well as the carbon disc kit used in the 03-04 Cobra. Axle bearings & seals would be some wise added extras.

Also, don't forget about speedometer correction! If you have a tuner, you're set. If not, you'll either have a really good excuse to get one, or you'll need a speed-cal.
