Default Got approval for an upgrade!

The wife gave me the go ahead to get some gears and a tuner for the ol Stang!

Now for some questions, from what I've been reading it seems like the majority of people say 4.10s for an auto. What is the realistic ET difference between 3.73s and 4.10s? My GT is more or less bone stock aside from CAI, Catback and will be running a 91 octane tune.

Does the gears/tuner combo from AM (Link here) come with everything I'm going to need to do the change? (My brother is a mechanic and will be doing the actual gear change) He said to change the oil after around 500 miles, so I'm going to pick up 3 quarts of Motorcraft for the breaking in period, then put the Royal Purple in.

I was going to get the trac-LOK kit, but I haven't seen any reason too. 82k miles and it will still do this

Yeah, thats pretty much what ya need. I would throw in some axle bearings and seals too, but thats just me.

As far as the Trac-Lok unit,its up to you. I figured, since I was there, may as well do it, so I got carbon fiber ones from Jegs.

about the same amount to do whatever she wants with. To bad I couldn't convince her to let me have 3k for a Vortech!
