Default Manushift 4r70w??

so ran up on this while talking with a buddy about trans conversions.

This one from summit:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TCI-302820/

This one from powertrain control solutions:
http://www.powertraincontrolsolution...anscontrol.php

I havent heard of these before. If I understand correctly these make it possible to install paddle shifters or push button shift. Correct? If so, has anyone here done this?

Cant say that I would prefer this over a normal "manual" but im very curious as to whether it has been done and what kind of results. Like how firm/crisp would it shift, would it be same "delayed shift" as going "1" "2" "3" on the stock auto selector.

Could be an interesting track project with if you had a built auto and wanted something different.

input/advice/pics or links would be greatly appreciated.

Interested to hear peoples opinions on this, but I think just due to the nature of the beast it would be a slightly delayed shift
