Default SLP or BBK

I have narrowed my search for headers down to two.

SLP Performance M30000 (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SLE-M30000/)

or

BBK Performance 15410 (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BBK-15410/)

Which one would you pick?

i'm not sure about the 04. But on our body styles, you can't pull the trans with the headres up and bolted tight. You will have to raise the motor and loosen one to remove the trans. I called bbk and they confirmed it. so i went kooks, and i've had my trans in and out a number of times. Something to think about, give em a call or i'm sure someone will chime in if its not the case for the 04.

also invest in some locking header bolts as long tubes enjoy loosening up.

You'll hear/read a million times about how BBK isn't top quality like the more expensive brands and the whole "you get what you pay for" argument. But you'll also get positive feedback from guys who've run BBK headers, throttle bodies, etc. and say they've been nothing pleased with it. I ran SLP on my Mach and they were top notch but I got a steal of a deal on them used. If I were paying retail I'd get BBK but to each his own. Hero's point is an important one, especially if you're hard on your tranny.

i would choose SLP because they are made of stainless steel (minimal if any rust at all)

I've had BBK's on for awhile with no problems. The finish seems to be holding up pretty well too.

Hard on the tranny is one thing. Clutch replacement/upgrade. Some heater core hoses i had to pull to replace. Any reason to pull the trans...not just if she blows haha. Good luck man. You love the new sound on any of em. Nice hp gain

I havent ran any other type of header so i can vouch for these two. But again. Locking header bolts on whatever u decide
