Default Chrome Foose Nitrous Wheel questions.

So I got a great deal on these wheels but I'm not sure about them. Not sure what I should do next. I only got 2 wheels only no tires. Im not even sure what size they are. Well I know they are 18s but by 9? 9.5? I read the back of wheel all I can find is 5x18. They are in excellent shape and I put them on the car to make sure the bolt pattern is the same and they fit but they stick out! As you can see on the pictures the wheel sticks out from the body. Is it too much? Would it look silly? Should I hold on to them and buy the other 2 for front? what size would I get for the front? Should I try n sell them? I looked at American Muscle website only thing for 99-04 stang are 18x9 but could I have a wider wheel for maybe newer stang? Need opinions.

Looks to me that they are designed for an S197. You must have gotten a great deal on them to jump on ony 2 wheels and no tires...Time to get the tape measure out and get measuring to see what you bought/

Not an S197 or they would be inward about 5/8" over normal fitment. You can look up the off-set/back-space ***HERE*** and let us know what it is.

Not sure how to get the off-set/back-space... Back space is 4.5 inches if I measured it correctly wheel is 9.5 wide.

^ look at the link I have above and will find a graph on that page.

If the back-space is 4.5" and the wheel is 9.5", then the off-set is -19mm. The normal off-set for an SN95 for such a width is hard to find, but a 10" wheel is about +22mm or 6.3" back-space. I would guess you are about 1.5" or so too far outward for a "normal" fit. I would guess you could roll the fenders enough to make up for probably 3/4", but unless you go "hella flush" look with super-narrow tires, you are likely gonna have serious rubbing.

Easy enough to figure out where a tire would be by comparing back-space measurements of existing wheels to these. This will tell you how much farther it will be outward with a similar fitting tire and see where it will end up, relative to the fenders.

Yeah I grabbed these when I saw them like I said I got them super cheap plus I have the option to take them back so I cant lose either way. I had seen few mustangs with spacers and the wheels sticking out but I was not sure if that would work on my stang. Here is one pic I had seen that made me think I might be ok but I'm by no means a mustang expert so I figured I get some input from people here.
