I wanted to put one of these in my last car and never got around to it.



I know they're out of stock on Amazon, but I think if I eat my Wheaties, I might be able to find one. I had a GM car a few years back that had one and they are surprisingly convenient. I like the extra lights, and the auto-dimming feature.

Any of you guys have one and if you do, was the install difficult? I was looking at the other boards and it appears it's easy to shatter your windshield when you take off the old mirror. There seem to be plenty of guys with newer Mustangs that have fked theirs up.

I haven't done one, but was looking into getting an auto-dimming mirror to replace the flip-flop one that I've got. I mainly drive at night, so this would be handy for me.

No, but that's pretty much what I'm looking for. I can't seem to find the Gentex anywhere, which is too bad. I understand it's a quality product. What do you know about the one you posted?

By the way, I think we have the exact same car.

Not much. Doesn't really seem to be all that much review info about most of these. I'm guessing most are happy with what they've got - or at least resigned to the fact it is what they've got.
