Thats what I did, except i used a true 97 cobra engine.

5.4 part are more expensive, I hate having to replace anything in my f150 because its going to cost me a fortune.

a 4.6 4v and a 5.4 are somewhat equal in hp but 5.4 has more torque bc its a truck engine with the hps intake manny people are getting closer to 300 and ive seen dynos of theses engine on the bottle and there pretty impressive but with the weight of the engine and the wieght of it being thrown around when turning make me not want to do it since mark 8s and cobras are basically the same with forged rod and aluminum dished pistons maybe some thick gaskets what kind of psi could i be running plus i will enjoy saying it was a gt now its a cobra ...... one last thing what is the diffrence between 5.4 4v navi cams and 96-98 cobra
