Maybe subjectively it could look differently I suppose, optical illusions and whatnot, But given the same outer diameter tires, the actual wheel gap will be the same.

The outer diameter of the tires will affect the fender gap. Your tires should be close to 26" tall.

OP,

I think you'll like the Eibach Sportline Springs for your 18" wheels. To help you get a better idea what your stance will look like, check out this other New Edge Mustang equipped with the same springs.

Would you recommend the same for a 17" wheel? I saw on the link that you posted that there were some Ford Racing lowering springs too. How much of a drop will those give?

The wheel doesn't matter. It's the outer diameter of the tire that matters.

Thanks Shane but I already bought your sr performance springs a while ago but thanks for the pic the 1.5 in drop should look good with my tires.

We actually have a few FRPP lowering springs available. If you click on the item and go to the "specs" tab, it will tell you how much they'll lower your car front and back. Let me know if there's anything else I can do!

No problem! The SR Performance springs are great budget spring as well. We've installed them on a few of our Mustangs here at AM. Plus, I've heard nothing but good thing from our customers too. I'm sure you'll enjoy them!

A quick note on staggered wheels, tires are directional, so if you have them rotated regularly, they have to take the tire off the wheel to rotate. While it looks great, it's just a PITA.

if you rotate your tires you obviously arent driving hard enough...
