Default 2000 Mustang Gt - FogLight Help!

I recently bought a 2000 GT. It has a saleen back end and side skirts but a stock front bumper. The stock front bumper has no fog lights. I also have the fog light switch inside the car. How do I go about putting the fog lights in. I have been looking at Americanmuscle.com for the fog lights but I do not know how to go about putting them in. Any help will really help me THANKS!

You need to get the fog lights with the housings included. Two screws and a tab hold each housing in place. Then just connect the harness to the fog lights.

The wiring should be in the front of the car still, as long as no one has done any shade tree mechanics on the car. There should be two small weather pack connectors, one on each side. If they aren't there, you'll have to do some wire tracing/make sure the relay is still in the fuse box. The fog lights with housings included can be found on Ebay, Latemodel Restoration, CJ Pony Parts, ect.

Yea what motorman said, they are really easy to install provided the hardware and the wiring hasn't been deleted. I can't remember the site I got them on but they were about 80.00. Try google, I think that's how I found mine.

Those will work fine. Like I said, you'll need to look at your car to see if someone has cut the harness. If not then you're fine, if they have then you'll have to buy new pigtails and trace the wires out. Look under the front to see if it still has the connectors or not. We can't tell you that.

Dmac2197,

Motorman said it perfectly. Our fog lights will work great on your car, just make sure the harness was never cut!

Let me know if I can be of any assistance! Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266. I can also have one of them call you directly.

Thanks Dan! What would I have to do if the harness is cut because I believe it use to have a saleen front bumper on it because it has the back and the side skirts. There for I am scared they might of cut them when they put the saleen bumper on it and when they replced it with a gt bumper they did not put them back in because they were not there.
