See I hate when people are like omg only 200 hp range for a V8 mustangs suck. They don't realize the defenition of a mustang. A small but hardy mixed bred horse. A blue-collar car I'd like to say. Plus those people who complain, I'd like to say anyone can take a loan and pay 40k for a fast car, but building and modding your own car makes it much more personal and satisfying.</P><edited><editID>mabguru</editID><editDate>37970.8618518518</editDate></edited>

Mustangs aren't always about being the fastest out there, its being the best. Plenty of stangs kick GM tail. I think that the mustang is evolving from the blue collar origins however, to a more pristene muscle car, as with the new 2003 SVTs. They put the mustang on par way above anything else in the same old category, up along side vettes and stuff.

They sure do suck, my neighbor has a 2003 GT on his 2nd engine,4th set of brake rotors, crooked steering column, rattles everywhere, moisture in the headlights...i could go on and on...i guess they keep on making them because theyre always trying to find ways to improve the damn things...and they have YET to be improved...oh and mustangs are pretty damn slow if you ask me..i've killed many 94-98 GT's and numerous 5.slows in my maxima..A FOUR DOOR FAMILY CAR...comon guys....blown cobra?NOTHING special...supercharged and still less power than a Z06..a bpu supra will eat it for lunch. I will never in my life buy a poorly built Ford product!! and rice boys? most of the f*cking "rice" i see in my town are Fords and Chevy caviqueers anyway...I'm sure half of you ford guys have the f**king tow truck guy on speed dial, its not funny how many fords i see on the side of the road. Makes me sick.</P>

94-98 stangs arent much to brag about beating. 5.0 is somewhat, but i bet they were in need of a big time tune-up or had a s**tty driver.</P>
if you knew anything you'd know that the cobra actually has the same if not more power as a Z06 (less driveline loss FOO), but weight restricts it to being slower.</P>
supra...only way it'll win is if it's already up to speed with traction. cobra willeat its f**kinlunchoff the line</P>
as for the quality/tow truck comment, you're just making up s**t.</P>
