I have never had good luck with autozone brand coils. Oreillys brand coils are better. That might just be your problem.

Well I tried 2 new coil packs from different strores and still no differece. I also cleaned the intake and IMRCs and now along with the sputtering/hesitation issue I have an idle issue.
The motor revs up and down between 1000-2000 rpms if I am coasting with the clutch in or in neutral. When the car comes to a stop it stays at 2000rpm for about 5 seconds then drops down to 1100 and stay there. I also tested the cam position sensor and it checks out fine, but there is no voltage going to the plug with key on engine off.

Default Sputtering issue solved!

Well after nearly a month and about 500 bucks later, the problem (besides the coil pack failure) was a bad spark plug wire. A part bad, right out of the Ford box. This was a brand new Ford Motorcraft wire that was arcing on the inside of the head. So much for Ford being the best option for parts. Thanks for all the help!

LTs with high flow cats on an X-pipe is the way to go.
