Cam choice
I recently bought a 2002 mustang gt with the common bolt ons and a procharger with a 3 core infer cooler. I got it dynoed and it was 401hp and 396 tq. I want to get into the 600 range and to do this I realize I need to forge my internals. My car has a mild street strip cam nothing big at all. I want to change my cam while the engine is out anyways. What's a good brand and lift? It is my daily driver so I don't want it crazy aggressive but I want to know its there at the same time.

personally, i was going to use comp 270 cams with a eaton until i built a high compression N/A motor. imho, i would go with mhs 2-3 blower cams and turn up the boost. i would also keep the compression in the 9.5:1 to 10:1 to help with the low end lag and will get you more rwhp with less boost. ported heads and edelbrock vic jr intake manifold will help out too.

I'll give you a short run down of what I have in my car. I dyno'd quite a bit more then your car. To get to 600 HP you are gonna have to spend some more $$$$

I have stage 1 ported heads from patriot. I have kooks long tube headers to basani x pipe to car back back flowmasters. I will look into those cams. Are those pretty common cam choice ? Is it really aggressive? To get to 600 all I need from what I understand is to forge those internals an then a different belt and that'll get me there. I just want a new cam sense it's not everyday that you can get to your cam easily
