4.10s or 4.30s /thread. 3.73 are for people that don't realize the MPG difference from 3.73 to 4.10 isn't noticeable

That's what I was thinking, now I just need to find someone to do it. Axles are a mystery to me.

skip the pullies & TB, very minimal gain, if any. Gears, midpipe, tune.

That's what I was worried about. At least I know now before I bought either of those. Thanks for the info.

I too am contemplating gears and the BAMA tune. I daily drive mine about 70 miles a day and 65 of that is all highway. With my auto trans and 245/40/18's I don't want my MPG's to take huge a hit. As it stands i am tach'ing about 1900 RPM at 65 MPH. I have checked a few gearing calculators and with 4.10's most say i should be turning around 2300-2500 rpm at 65 MPH. I think that is a little too much. In my case I think 3.73's would be better for me because of how many highway miles i drive and wanting to optimize MPG. I am currently getting about 20 MPG and losing 2 MPG to go to 4.10's just isn't worth it for me.
