T45 issues
I recently purchased a 96 cobra vert with a bad trans, so I installed a used one with really low miles. I also put a new clutch, pilot, and throwout bearing while I was there. I had the stock flywheel resurfaced. Its been doing fine until here lately I noticed a light roaring sound only in first gear and at low speeds 10-15 mph. If I push in the clutch it goes away, and it doesnt do it in second or reverse. I didnt notice it until I took it to the track this past weekend, but I don't recall ever just creeping around. I'm just wondering if you guys have heard anything like this before.

While it could be a TOB issue, you might want to try loading the transmission with Mobil 1 ATF.
Many people use it in the T-45 (both Borg-Warner and Tremec) and Mobil has stated explicitly it is a suitable alternative for Mercon (plain ol' Mercon). My brother's '99 GT with the Tremec T-45 quieted down quite a bit when he changed to M1...

If it was the TB wouldn't it do it in every gear instead of just first. I'll give the Mobil 1 a try it bugs me. You don't hear it driving normal but if you just let the clutch out and roll on first it makes it.
