Default new here with some questions

I have an 04 gt and I would like some input as to what would be the best way to make my stang faster. I got a buddy with a camaro that he says puts down around 400hp, and i would one day like to be able to at least keep up with him. I plan on adding all the typical boltons that i keep reading about but i was wondering what more there would be to do. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Change your rear-end gearing to at least 3.73 would be a great start.

cams, dyno tune, and you could go with 3.73's but to really pull hard look at 4.10s or even 4.30s if youre daring.

I don't know how ya'll run 4.10's or higher. I have 3.73 and when I roll on the throttle in 3rd gear I start to break loose pretty quick. I'm running 285's in the back. Maybe I need to bump it up to 305's.

I have the stock suspension in the car (99 Roush) with some adjustable camber kit on the front end. I'm putting down just under 500 hp to the rear wheels. When the revs come up and the boost starts to come on a little bit (only around 7psi max) traction starts to become pretty limited. While it is fun it is also pretty inefficient.
