Default Getting my 2002 to run

Well just as it says, my 2002 gt has been sitting at my parents house for close to 2 years. Its been very well neglected and wasnt started at all. So after I cleaned out all the pack rat nest and found that they didnt do any damage to anything I got it to start. Thing is it wont stay running easiliy. So I poured so octane booster in it to help it get the old fuel out, it wont start on its on it needs a little spray of starter fluid. Today I am going to change the plugs, oil, oil filter and fuel filter. Is there anything else you guys would sugest doing. I know its going to need new gas but I cant really drop the tank to get the fuel out. Unless someone knows a easier way to get the fuel out of the tank. Anyway any advise would be great.

Put a little fuel stabilizer in the tank.

I would drain the old fuel and replace it, replace fuel filter, plugs, oil, oil filter. Siphon fuel, if you can't get a hose in there, disconnect fuel filter, hook up a hose to it, and run the other end of hose to a fuel can to catch old fuel. Then jump the fuel pump relay to pump it out. Make sure your battery has a good charge. I don't know how much fuel is in there but get out as much as you can then stop fuel pump when all is out so you don't burn out the pump.

+10 all fluids, and filters, check coolant hoses for weather cracking, check tires for weather cracking. Check visiible electrical cables for gnaw marks.

Ok so after a long day of work it seems i have went backwards. Now the car will not run on its own at all. I droped the tank drained the fuel, filled back up with fresh fuel, plugs fuel filter, oil, oil filter. Before if I got it going with starter fluid it would at least stay running just really rough. Now it wont even stay running Im confused with this one.
