Hi Everyone

I just had a question about upgrading my exhaust piping, right now I swapped my mufflers for two MAC 2 1/4 mufflers.

I wanted to upgrade the piping to 2.5" from 2 1/4 but would their be a noticeable sound difference? I don't think I can get 3" piping since that only works with the cobra?

Since my muffler is 2 1/4 is that going to be the bottleneck if I upgrade the exhaust since the size is already set?

You could always stick with the current diameter and just buy larger diameter tips

I didn't think about that, would that make a minor sound difference?

the tips will might a small difference. the diameter of pipe, and material of pipe/mufflers will be a noticable difference. but the brand and style of muffler along with the style of mid pipe will be the biggest difference

Unfortunately I can't get a mid-pipe since I live in toronto, I won't be able to pass the emission test. I will get a quote from them about upgrading the piping on the exhaust but if its too much I'll just swap out the tips, thanks guys!
