Default Recommend rear shocks?

My rear shocks are getting real bouncy, car just dinged 80k so I think I'm gonna replace them.

Can anyone recommend some quality shocks for a regular street car? Also, what labor cost are we talking just for the rear shocks?

Thanks!

I'm happy with my Tokico HP's but they will be noticeably stiffer than oem. Labor costs should be free. Really easy to do. Like painfully easy.

Is it really as easy as jacking up the car and removing the top and bottom lug nuts, then just fitting in the new shocks? Or is there some shock assembly too?

Yeah, it's really that easy (if I remember correctly, I haven't touched my shocks since I installed them 4 years ago). You have to access the top nut from the trunk though. Just pull the carpet back.

Okay thanks. Might look into doing it at a buddy's then -- sucks not having a garage or even a driveway.

I ran these in my '04 GT daily driver. They're nice!

I have the Koni STR.T's and love the ride, of course they are stiffer but it is a sports car!
