Post My ideas for my upcoming stang!

Hi every one! i am 16 and looking to buy a v6 mustang 03-04. This isnt my first car so i have some driveing under my belt. Any way these are my plans for my future mustang 03-04 v6... I will take any feed back

****03-04 mustang (v6)******
* upgrade list when i first get it *

-MAC Dual Exhaust Conversion Kit (99-04 V6) .. i want a good rumble to it
-Blacked out taillights and Valance Decal. (dont forget the black bullit wheels!)
- air intake (possibly make the engine breath better)

**thats pretty much the mods i want when i first get the car. what do yall think? Also plz name some pros and cons on having a v6 mustang!

I hope I don't come across as a jerk because that's not how I'm trying to be about this... But if I were you I would pretty much leave it at that and probably a short throw shifter if you're getting a manual and leave the big spending for when you eventually get a V8. Pouring money into a V6 just seems like kind of a waste to me, but just having a Mustang at all(especially when you're 16) is definitely something to be happy about. The stock shifter sucks and any short throw feels waaaaaaaay better. All the other things you said are always nice too, along with anything else you'd like for looks. I just wouldn't pour too much money into performance, I'd save it up towards a V8 if I were you.

The Mustang I have now is kind of a work in progress still, but here's a picture of my 99 before it was totaled... The goal is to basically get my 03 looking just like this one as soon as possible with some minor differences.

Save for a V8. The V6 doesn't get any better MPG and doesn't have near the potential of a V8. You will have the V6 for about 2 months before selling it and getting a V8. What part of Texas are you in? I have a 96 GT Vert 5 speed for sale right now......

Now thinking about it yeah v8 . But here's my problem . I know I can afford one as far as the car. How about the insurance ? It will be under my moms name to make it cheaper . But what can I exspect to pay(only for liability )

wait for the 8. i went the 6 first and sold it within 6 months. its a power thing, theres nothing like an 8, even if the older new edge's arent the fastest out there, its still fun as hell. I say wait and do it right
