Ton of smoke
Well, I recently replaced my cracked intake manifold and replaced a bad COP and now my car runs fine, it's no longer misfiring but... I stomped on it at a stop and my the time I was in third I look in my rear view mirror and all I see is clouds of white smoke coming out of my exhaust, there was even smoke inside looked like it was going straight threw my shifter bezel. It runs fine and it can take off no problem.
Could overheated COP's cause this?

Sounds like a coolant leak getting on the exhaust. Check your coolant level. If it is low from when you refilled it after installing the intake manifold (you did top it off, didn’t you?) then you have a leak. Hopefully its not a blown head gasket, but just a leaky lower intake gasket. If the leak isn’t obvious, rent a radiator pressure tester from your local auto parts store, hook it up to the radiator, pump it up to the PSI listed on your radiator cap and listen/look for the leak. You might get lucky and be able to hear a hissing sound from the leak or see the coolant dripping below the car and be able to trace it back to the source. Good luck...
