Default 2000 GT Help

I have a 2000 GT automatic and am looking to get a little more acceleration/speed. I have already bought SLP Loudmouth 1s, CAI, a set of staggered shoes and a SCT Tuner from Americanmuscle.com Does anyone have any suggestions as what else I should buy for a reasonable price to help me with this. I am kind of new to this so any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the MF! Post up some pictures of your New Edge, we'd love to check it out.

If you're looking to gain better acceleration, I would definitely look into a set of Gears. Since you have an AUTO, a set of 4.10's will be perfect for your set up! We can also tune for the speedo change with your SCT device, so you'll be good to go there.

This is just a suggestion, let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance! Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266. I can also have one of them call you directly.

Just keep in mind, that gear install kit that costs 259.99, will cost you 500-700.00 to install at a shop. Unless you know someone that knows diff's prepare to pay. The FRPP instructions are around 31 pages long and it's not say complicated, but you need to know what you're doing.
AMDanBaller, you are out of stock every gear kit you have on the AM site. You have some stashed away somewhere?

A new throttle body could do the trick. It'll work nicely with your CAI, tuner and SLP. It's cheaper than gears and easier to install

We don't have any stashed in the warehouse, but we should have full stock in all of our Gear kits by the beginning of the upcoming week. I'm sorry for the lack of stock there, they're a very popular item!

Steeda underdrive pullies, accufab upper plenum, accufab 70mm throttle body, 4.10 rear gear. And a custom dyno tune will help u out with that.. Oh and get a mid pipe.

It doesn't necessarily have to be the accufab, personally I think they are over priced! Performance products I bought both component for a little over half of what the accufab costs. I'm not shooting you down, but OP did say for a reasonable price. Performance isn't cheap, but you can shop around.
