my first thought was buy a 99, lol then i kinda felt like an ***! haha anyway, id start with simple, free and work your way up. So id take out the plugs and see what they look like for starters, if they are worn, or burnt, or wet. that will tell you a lot of information and give you a place to start. if they dont look normal, use that information to start tracking down why, like wet might indicate bad spark, white, might indicate fueling issues, ect.

Change plugs, wires, coil packs, fuel filter, bank1 o2 sensors clean IAC and MAF and see what u got. For what u paid for the car I would just buy all that stuff considering its probably been abused or neglected for someone to let it go that cheap.

Update on the issue i have changed plugs, coil packs, cleaned sensors, fixed some vacuum leaks, removed exhaust to verify cats are flowing.still same issue i know i have Trans issue but u can here it when rev it in park its just ten time worse even i engage the Trans into drive i get a egr and when i rev it the rpms come down slow. I'm going to get into the tps and throttle body next and check egr.check manifold for cracks.. I don't see any Sparks at night from wires.was also thinking fuel filter and pressure test.

In the 8 pin connector on passenger side Trans said i should have 9 volts on number one terminal i show no voltage and when i look at the plug the copper female slip on isn't there but i see then on 2 thru 8 is there supposed to be one on #1 i would think so if u are supposed to have voltage there
