o2 sensors
So after purchasing my car on Saturday and putting about 200 miles on it i got the code P0430 which is for downstream o2 or cat bank 2. My question is does it matter what brand or are all o2 sensors created equal Thanks

Thats a cat effieciency code. I wouldn't just replace the sensor. You might have a bad cat. Its somewhat of a common thing in Used vehicles since its kind of pricey to replace and some people would rather sell the car than pay for a new cat. i would do some further diagnosing if i were you, you sensor might be in perfect condition. And to answer your question, i always buy oem replacement parts, i dont trust autozone. Just my .02

thats good to know. because i have stock sensors on a O/R X pipe. I dont want the 90$ eliminators just to keep the CEL off. I own a OBD2 meter and can check weekly for any new codes.

Well i got underneath the car today to replace the fog/driving lights 1 of the previous owners had busted them out anyway. This was the 1st time i had actually been underneath the car and i did find out that the car has no converters at all and at least 1 or maybe 3 O2 sensors had been changed. 3 of the sensors external part is skinny and one was about as big around as the bung it screws into. But at least i found out why the light possibly came on although it hasn't since i turned it off with my code reader. What bothers me about the no cat issue is the dealer told me it still had the converter on it although we do not do emmisions tests there are some areas where the LEOs do pull people over for random checks for converters.
Thanks
