Default 03 GT convertable leakage

I think the leak is coming from right under the back window. Where the top meets the part just above the trunk. I'm getting it looked at this weekend, but when the watet comes in it pools like inside the back of my car and leaks up from a hole under the drivers seat and into the back. When I drive it I can hear the water swooshing from somewhere. How do I save my car from rust?

There are places that will coat the bottom of the car with an anti-rust agent

I read your post four times and half of it still doesn't make sense.

1. your convertible top is leaking.

2. When water leaks through the convertible top, it pools oin the floor pan.

3. What the hell does "leaks up from a hole under the drivers (sic) seat" mean?

Do you have a hole in the floor in addition to a hole in your convertible top?

How do you save your car from rust? STOP THE LEAK(S).

First off you kbow when you pull the carpet out off a car you have 50 holes on the frame of the car? Water comes our of which ever it feels like coming out of when it rains. Second my top it perfect. Third its called my weather stripping is bad in the back in the middle and that piece for an 03 has been discontinued. And wow. I never would of thought to stop the leak. Thank you for being so insightful.

Neat. Because every time I call I a car place down here they wont tell me anything. They just say hey bring it in and we'll look at it. And I dislike going there and waiting 2 hours for someone to just tell me something stupid.

Ziebart did it a long time ago but i think they are out of business......i had an old cutlass once that had a slow oil leak in the pump seal and it coated the whole bottom of the car in oil which kept it from rusting....blessing in disguise i guess....anyway where do you live i can help you look into it

Actually I'm going to the only place here that messes with convertables in a few hours. Ill ask about the anti rust coating while I'm there.

Florida. I have to get it fixed today because for some reason mother nature has decided to make it rain like everyday. And my tan carpet is now red because its rusting from the swimming pool in my back seat.
