New zoom clutch, won't disengage. Need help.
OK so I installed a new Zoom brand clutch kit in my 1996 GT. It came with the disk, pressure plate, throughout baring and pliot bushing. The install was pretty stright forward with no real issues.
However, the clutch will NOT disengage and go into gear. The clutch fork hits the bell housing when the clutch is pressed so it is pulling the maximum allowed, yet still will not disengauge the clutch.
Any ideas what went wrong here? I need help.
Thanks in advance.

Fork is on correctly and working. If you have someone press the clutch, you can watch the throughout bearing and even see the pressure plate lift some. It's like it is not pulling away from the disk enough, or the clutch disk is too thick.
The self adjusting cable, pulls the fork until it hits the bellhousing. So it is maxed out as much as possible. Yet it don't lift enough off the clutch disk to release.
Im stumped. It's like the disk is too thick, or the pressure plate is not doing what it is suposed to.
Anyone know if Zoom requires a zoom brand flywheel?
thanks
