Hi guys i bought a 97 gt with a blown engine i put in a new one but at 3500 rpm it bogs down and makes a Rattling noise From the engine i replaced wires spark plugs injectors Same Problem it trew a code saying that the engine was running rich Thanks in advance

my guess is check your air to fuel ratio. then get it tuned for better performance

What year engine did you install? If it is a PI motor it is quite different than what was in the car stock.

As the airfuel ratio Haven't checked that i really Don't know what engine i Received i took in my old one and the gave me a new rebuilt one ill call them to see but the stock 97 intake bolted Right on to the new engine dont pi heads change Ill look into that thanks guys

If you can remember the port shape, I believe non pi is round and pi are rectangular.

Oh ok i think that they were round it has an Exhuast leak at The could that affect the way it runs

An exhaust leak before the o2 senor will cause problems. If the exhaust is leaking between the manifold and mid pipe that is on of the problems. Btw, even if you got the pi engine, it wouldn't cause problems youre having.

Its before the o2 sensor at the manifold Im going to istall some bbk shortys to fix the leak hopefully that will fix it
