I don't think it hurts anything, Just a safety measure to ensure you have brakes as you slow down. Personally, I haven't messed with it, you get used to it.

My ball joints came in so I got them on yesterday also checked my vac lines didn't find any with issues replaced the evap hoses question about the evap hoses from the canister there is one to the tank one to the purge valve and one that goes around the fender towards the front and stops on the bottom of the frame that does not connect to anything is it suppose to connect to something. Yesterday morning before doing the work it was setting around 1k rpm when I come to a stop then would idle down to around 600-700 after replacing the hoses and resetting the computer it was back to idling around 12-1300 before dropping down.

No one has a motorcraft in stock so bought a BWD from oreilly's put it on and tested the tps voltage idle was hanging around 1300 when coming to a stop before settling down to 700 now with the new iac it's around 1800 before settling down and I reset the computer after the new iac. Any other suggestions.

Done the copper pipe cap with a 1/4" hole it fixed the hanging between shifts but not the idle.
