Default 02 GT sputtering issue

I have an 02 GT manual. 110k miles. it starts fine. doesn't have any idle issues. it may pop (soft) or "putter" once in a while, but i drive normal. when I hit the gas harder it will sputter a lot, it will accelerate but not as it should. I was told spark plugs, the Coil over plugs, fuel filter, fuel treatment for the injectors. I was wondering what other people have thought or if they had this issue before. suggestions?

I do have a CEL, been on for years, since i did exhaust. its probably because it needs MIL eliminators, but i will do another ODB test.

Have you washed your engine bay lately? Maybe got some water under the coil packs. Have you cleaned your MAF sensor lately?

I want to say that the Motorcraft Plat plugs did the trick and the beast is running smooth and loud! they almost charged me for the motorcraft Copper ones. they were pricey. and not needed. thank you all for your help! greatly appreciated!
