like i said, im not american car savvy but i blue booked it at 9k. i have seen 96 cobras with 120k on craigslist selling for 8500. i figured it would be a worth while investment. now i am kinda reconsidering. i thought these cars were very expensive
OK you just answered your own question when you said "SHE SAID SHE"!
I didn't have to read any further, that motor is now junk!

Maybe not, but the blue book never crosses 6k in anybodys brand. Kelly, Nada and Edmunds all show it less than 6k with clean or excellent condition. That included the 48k mileage add. The car isn't, with a engine knock, either. It should go to the bottom of the listing which only brings 3100. Anyways you look at it, I would rather put 4k into an 05-up. JMO

well in my area (NY) it shows kbb value of 17k on a 1998 cobra coupe with 48k miles. thats steep in my opinion but still i could see it going for 12k (without the engine knock of course)

-as far as putting the 4k into an 05+ i agree. I couldnt buy a mustang with a knock or a problem, especially something as major as the engine.
