Step 21. says: "Use the provided .375" and .25" spacer sleeves between the caster camber plate and the top strut nut so that approx. 1.4" of the threaded portion of the strut goes past the large nut."

I only get the noise on larger bumps and changes in driving surface. Since it's the weekend figured I would post here and then contact UPR tomorrow. I impacted the crap out of it, don't want to continue impacting it as I don't want to break it. I over thought it on install and was worried about no rubber being up in the CC plate like the stock receptacle. Thanks for your insight and help.

It sounds like you installed the spacers correctly. Please call UPR at 561.588.6630 between 8am-6pm EST.

Just for the record i would NOT be "impacting the crap" or using an impact nut AT ALL on the strut nut with these coil over setups, when u installed the coilovers did u see the little washer type needle bearing that when between the two peices of the spring cap. That thing is not rated for the much pressure on it, there is torque specs for a reason.

I did go with cool overs. Just a standard Eibach strut. There was no bearing on mine. I used a torque wrench initially with a crows foot, and a huge pair of pliers to hold the strut itself to keep the strut itself from turning.

Sorry last message was incorrect thanks to big fingers and little screen. I DIDN'T go with coil overs. It's the Eibach Pro-System springs, with shocks/struts.
I took everything apart, and it looks like my lower ball joints are bad. (Sure, I need another front end alignment!) They look like they are as old as the car. Where's a good place for the whole lower control arm with the lower ball? Ford is out of their minds, 230.00 for one!

No, they haven't had the crap packed out of them. If you consider yourself an expert, maybe should enter more than just that. Jus' sayin'.
