Yeah make sure it runs without any odd noises, shifts without problems, and check for oil leakage. I got a 03 GT coupe with 65,000 miles for 8k. It's more than i could ask for, but it still had its flaws.
Great deal, if I had the cash I'd fly down to Florida, buy it from underneath you, and drive it home.
Just as others have said, don't fall in love before you buy it.
