Default Need help....broken shock

I am really needing some advice/help this evening and tomorrow. I was on my way back to my hotel this evening when I noticed my car pulling very bad to the right. I got the car to my friends house and come to find out the front drivers side shock looks to be broken. I jacked the car up and found the wheel very loose and the shock broke. I also thought the car had struts on the front but the spring isn't attached to the shock. My car is an 2003 Saleen s281. What kinda shocks did these come with? Whats a good place to order a shock from? I am having her towed tomorrow and getting the shock replaced as soon as I can.
Thanks

Also can anyone suggest another type of shock/strut that I can install on the front that would go with the factory Saleen springs already on the car. But keep in mind I am trying to spend a small fortune either.

Not sure what the original struts were for your car. There is no Brand name on the struts? There are a lot of good Brand struts. If you are not going to replace the front pair. IMO i would try to replace the 1 with original Brand. Have you check in the Saleen section yet?

Thanks for the reply. Yes I did check in the Saleen section but it seems like that section doesn't get much action. So thats why i asked here. The struts on it now are the Bilsteins. I will be replacing both of the fronts but not with the Bilsteins. My bank account is getting lower. In the past month I have had to replace the clutch, replaced the front bumper cover and also painted it to match and replaced a few of the Saleen badges and decals. I am still needing to track down a water leak that I have when it rains. So I can't spend the $350+ right now for one Bilstein strut. I am going with the factory Cobra struts on the front of it.

go with a tokico blue set of struts. They're affordable and a little better than a factory gt replacement.

They're struts, because they actually function as structural members of the suspension, not just to stop bounce.

Just buy the best ones you can afford, but being a Saleen, you probably need good ones to equate to the stockers.
