Default How accurate?

I'm not sure how accurate the gps app on my phone is so I'll see what you guys think. It's my gf's car that she's had since almost new. It had a few thousand miles on it when she bought it from the dealer. She has never driven it hard...ever! Just your routine maintenance was done.

1998 Mustang Gt with the 17" wheel package. Only mods are UPR o/r x pipe and jegs chambered mufflers welded on. Rear end is either 3.08 or 3.15. The mph and rpm's were very close but closer to 3.15. Not sure.
The gps app is Ulysse Speedometer. It has 0-60, 0-100, and 1/4 mile function.

1st run 1/4 mile...13.10sec (OD on)
2nd run 1/4 mile...12.21sec
3rd run 0-60mph...5.22sec, 1/4 mile...12.93sec, 0-100mph...15.4sec (OD off)

I'm no mustang expert by any means and my sensible side is saying those numbers don't add up for an almost stock 98 gt. The optimistic side wants to take those numbers and run with it. What do you guys think?
Future plans are 4.10 gears, PI i/c swap, and a tune.

Well it wasn't that accurate. I did 3 runs this morning with a different app. This time the numbers were where they should be. 0-60 times were 6.8secs average.

a stock GT would run high to mid 14s so maybe add 2 sec to the times???

The various GPS "performance" applications are mostly entertaining toys. This is due to the inherent positioning error of the GPS (the highest quality units are within 10 feet per reading, typical smart phone units are not that accurate); and that smart phone operating systems do not provide the sort of precision timers needed for "split-second" accuracy.

The most accurate devices are those that are accelerometer based, like the G-Tech products, when vehicle weight is well defined.

I actually had a Gtech back in 2005 when I had my 2.3 turbo car. After looking at their website recently I see they have some cool stuff so I may be investing in Gtech again.
