I guess I would be one of those looser's that does not have the special little "V" as my 8th digit in my VIN but I have a Cobra hood on my little ol GT and no I don't feel goofy in any way.
My car is not a clone and I have never claimed it to be anything but a GT I like the look of the Cobra hood and bumper as do many other people their is nothing wrong with putting those parts on a V6/GT it's when people claim a car is something else that their is a problem

He just went on his way, but there must have been a reason for him to weave between cars to get up to me.
It's just a Mustang thing. I always try to catch up if I see one in front of me.

I have Saleen style wheels on my LX. Not trying to fool anyone into believing that it's a real Saleen. I just like the look. Everyone is entitled to make their car custom.

I may have a picture of Carroll Shelby signing the dashboard of a 1958 Edsel.

i have an 03-04 cobra bumper and a 95 cobra r hood on my car and I dont feel funny at all. I love the way each part looked and when I had a run in with a deer I figured I might as well get the parts that I want instead of stock

The 95 Cobra R hood is probably one of the best looking hoods for the New Edge!

My car is a GT with a cobra hood, front bumper and 96 cobra 4v engine in it.The only cobra emblem is the one on my intake.I tell people it's a 4v swapped GT.I put the cobra hood on after I stuck the 4v in and had to slam the stock hood down when I closed it.I don't feel funny pulling up next to a real SN cobra.I agree with the other guys.As long as you're not lying about what the car really is,Then I guess it's fine to do whatever you want to it.For the record I really wanted to put cobra badges on my car but decided against it.

What pisses me off is when someone trys to sell a clone as a real Cobra.
There's some *** clown on my Craigslist right now that's been advertising a Cobra for a few months now that you can clearly see it has a Mustang steering wheel and a GT front bumper, yet has no pics of the motor.
...........I guess someone called them out on it cause they now state in their ad "This is a real Cobra!"
.......I hope someone looking for a real Cobra punches him in the face...
