Trying to find shop to install 4.10 gears
#12
+1 dosen't have to be mustang related to set up a ring and pinion, nor does it have to be a speed shop. Any shop that does lifted trucks generally can set up a ring and pinion easy as most lifted trucks need the lower gear ration to compensate for the huge rotating mass of the tires.

OK... thanks! You guys have given me new ideas on places to look.
It has been a little over 20 years since I last had this kind of work done (had 3.55 gears installed in a 1986 Mustang GT to replace the factory 2.73 gears). I'm getting older and definitely developing a case of CRS!!

I cant help you with any shops in or around Missouri , but I pieced all my parts together and had a drivetrain shop install mine for 250.00 Ended up being around 280 with taxes and he didnt want to use my synthetic fluid. Just look for a drivetrain place around you.

Gears have been installed --- car running good. Definitely like the "passing power" in 4th gear (5-speed manual trans) compared to the stock gearing.
Paid more than I thought the job was worth, but they did a nice job and I'm happy with the results.
Next step --- 70mm Throttle Body/Plenum Combo.
