I want to and kind of have to buy this, but what if I want to sell my car? How would I do that? Would I have to reset the computer back to the factory settings? Is it possible to sell this with the car? because I think it registers to the owners email or something? If I couldnt sell this along with the car then I would be selling a car that is out of tune due to my rim size and 4:10 gears and would be troublesome in my sale.

Unless you're going to replace the factory gears and rims when you sell the car, just sell the unit with the car. The buyer can use the tunes already on it and if he wants new tunes he can just pay for the tunes or buy tunes for life from Bama. Otherwise he woul balk at buying a car with an out of calibration speedometer, which it would be if you restore the factory settings. OR just get the speedo calibrated and keep the tuner.

A new owner will be able to use the tunes already loaded onto the SCT tuner, however they would have to buy back into the tunes for life program should they want that--$150 last I knew...

You can unmarry this device and keep it for your next car if you'd like. However, you'll be selling the car to someone without a tune because you have to return the car to stock to unlock it from the car!
