Npi to pi heads

Npi to pi heads
I know there are other threads somewhere to do this but I can't find them.
I have a 2002 Mustang Gt. 4.6L v8. My crankshaft is messed up so I am taking a motor out of a 1997 mustang Gt. I don't want to lose power so I have decided to do a head swap and intake swap.
Here is my question. What do I need to make this happen? I have both complete engines, just want to swap heads and intake from the 02 to the 97.
Also I have heard you will actually come away with more power than the stock than the stock PI motor, is that true?
Thanks for any help!
2002 Mustang GT
shorty headers, Bassani X pipe, catback, 18" SVE Staggered drift wheels,
Koni racing suspension, pro 5.0 shifter, aluminium driveshaft, 3.73 gears.

Yeah, just swap the heads/cams/intake off from the 02 motor to the 97 motor. You will also have to use the 02 valve covers, dipstick, and the heater pipe that runs under the intake.
You will be bumping the compression, thus power, the downside is that you will need to be running premium gas, or risk pinging.
