Default Should I get it towed?

My throw out bearing was going making noises for a while now and it just decided to go on Friday. It happened literally around the corner from where I work so I parked it ASAP. When the car is turned off and I press the clutch you can feel/hear it grind and screech. I drove it home on the highway for minimal shifts and made it alright. But whenever I pressed the clutch it made a loud screeching noise but still shifted fine. My dads friend will let me change the clutch in his shop but the only problem is that it is in the city. There are tons of lights and sometimes heavy traffic. I don't know if it can handle city driving with a shot TB or if I would risk damaging something else. What are you guys opinions?

Get it towed. If the tob goes out, the clutch will most likely stay engaged and you will chance on hitting something or someone. $100 tow bill is better than $1000+ body damage.
