Default Knight Rider style scanner....

Anyone out there who has bought and installed a Knight Rider style scanner in their Mustang? I have an '02 GT and I am looking for a scanner and some advice from someone who has done the install before I tackle it (no sense reinventing the wheel...). I found a few old threads with other models, but nothing recent.

Any suggestions?

Sonic Mustang probably will come out of retirement to field the answer to your question. It's your ride man, but it hurts my brain to envision such an atrocity.

Retirement? I love the idea of a Knight Industries scanner on any Mustang except mine.

The best place to mount your scanner is the center grill. Buy a Mach 1 grill delete kit and use sheet metal screws to attach your scanner. Be sure to block as much airflow as possible.

Be sure to operate your scanner as much as possible on public roads to impress the ladies as well as LEOs, who will throw your *** in jail and impound your car after they arrest you for impersonating an officer. Red lights on the front of your car are illegal in all 50 states.

LOL. C'mon, guys...you can't really see it when it's off and I know better than to run with it under normal driving/use. It's just something fun to do.
