Default 78mm bbk throttle body non supercharged but modded 99 GT HELP!!!!

i have a bbk cold air intake, bbk tuned headers, bbk underdrive pullys, catless x-pipe, straight pipes, and a performance chip, stage 3 comp cams.. this next summer i am going to be putting a supercharger in my baby. but right now i am trying to get it all preped for it. but i dont want to put something on that is going to make me lose power or make me slow at the start. and i am not sure if putting the 78mm on now without the supercharger if it will hurt me or not and i just wont gain from it right now. i am also installing a ford racing performance improvement intake manifold along with the bbk 78mm throttlebody. so i guess my question is with what i have done so far will i be ok installing the intake manifold and the 78mm throttle body right now before i put on the supercharger this coming summer. or will doing this hurt me until i install the supercharger. and im sure if it doesnt hurt then i can expect to only see minimal gain if i notice anything at all right now. any help will be awesome guys thanks.

The 78mm tb/plenum will be fine on a NA engine. You will gain a little hp but no more than a 70 or 75mm tb would.

Yeah, I just dropped a 78mm tb/plenum into my mustang, and I basically have the exact same mods done to mine (except for the cams)! I noticed a little better response and power, so for you, I'm sure it would be just fine due to you having cams.

Mustang 1997 might wanna start your own thread.

OP you'll be fine, especially if you're going FI in the near future. What blower are you planning on going with?
