Camber/caster plates

What springs are you using? Anytime you lower a car past 1.5", you'll need caster/camber plates to correct the alignment.

Yes you will still need an alignment. The plates allow allow more front to back and side to side movement of the front strut. That you can't get with the factory setup. Allowing you more freedom to adjust caster and camber.

You can edit your posts, supersnake67.
Mustangfan17, the C/C plates allow for modification in your camber (angle of the tire leaning inwards or outwards) and the caster (angle of the tire while steering), as supersnake67 said. It does NOT eliminate the need for aligning the tires. From my understanding, optimal alignment calls for the tire surface to remain flat and at a straight angle to allow for more grip and better steering response.

CC-plates give you a greater range of adjustment than the stock strut mounts do. They are recommended, because in addition to giving you more adjustability they also improve on the strut mounting itself by getting rid of the soft rubber factory bushings. But I wouldn't say they are REQUIRED for lowered cars. Just strongly recommended.
Here's what I recommend:

these guys are right added movement for the strut allowing for better alignment! my alignment guy loves me after i put 4 bolt mm cc plates on it. you have tons of movement and can get the alignment spot on! here is what i would go with the 4th hole adds a good bit of movement
