The A/C on my 2000 GT with only 55k miles is working intermittently. In extreme hot weather the A/C compressor doesn't kick on.
I am thinking either the low pressure sensor switch (Is this the same as the A/C cycling switch) is either dying, or the system is low on R134a refrigerant.
How can I test the system to see if it is low on refrigerant? How can I fill it with more? What pressure should the system be at?
