Engine tick that winds down after shut off (Video)

Its hard to be sure if its the retainer sleeve the throw out bearing just rides on that , its just there to give the tob a smooth service to ride on as opposed to riding on the input shaft.
You could get under the car and have someone inside depress the clutch while you listen for changes . I would think if you got under there you would distinctly notice the noise more pronounced at the bell housing.

I just noticed I had messed up. already corrected. thank ya. anyhow dawson, my pony is an automatic. same noise tho. you cant really hear it quite as loud as ej's, while its idling. but when u shut it off, and everything quits moving, the ticking slows and stops. everytime.

I know its different, but over at Chrysler, our alternators have a slipper clutch, and they make that same noise when they go bad. and "wind Down" just like yours.
I would tend to think a TOB would be more of a "Metallic" noise, and would have probably eaten itself by now.
I would agree with accessory...pop the belt completely off, and spin the pulleys by hand. the culprit should be fairly obvious.
