Alright guys I need a new flywheel for my 99 Cobra. Hack that put the clutch in messed things up so here is the question Spec or Ford Racing? I like the fact that you can change out the friction area on the spec if I ever have problems with it over the Ford one but I dont know about the quality of the spec stuff. So what do you all think?? Spec or Ford Racing?

Ive ran SPEC in four different stangs now. They are great, the only brand I will use for clutches and flywheels!

WOW I guess we are the only 2 guys that replace flywheels. LOL

Before I went with the S/C I had a spec stage 2 clutch on my mustang. I had full bolt on's and I was pushing around 270-275 to the rear wheels. The clutch should have had no problem handling my rwhp but out of no where kaboom. Before I bought the clutch I was told to look elsewhere but me being hard headed I went with the spec clutch. I hate bashing companies but I will never again buy another spec clutch. Once I return from Korea I'll be going with the Exedy Mach 500 Stage 3 Clutch from American Muscle. Not to expsensive, AM sells it and I've read alot of good reviews. GL with your choice.
