4.6 Short Throw Question

The Steeda Tri Ax is a big improvement over the stock unit on a Tremec 3650. (Your 2000 may have a T45).
A TR3650 has internal shift stops and you should not use the shift stops on any aftermarket shifter. (Confirmed via telephone with a Tremec engineer and Mustang Bullitt and Mach 1 program manager Scott Hoag.)

SR Performance? I guess that's American Muscle's house brand. Compare the photo with Steeda's Tri Ax and tell me the Tri Ax isn't worth $20 more (or MGW for a few more $$). American Muscle describes the SR Performance shifter as "billet aluminum" when it's obvious the handle - including the lower part which engages the transmission - is not aluminum.
You get what you pay for.

If its a 2000, shouldn't you have a t-45? Also Stack Racing seems to make some really good parts for the price. Now, I have the steed tri-ax and its amazing but its the only one I've used. I'd honestly only get the steeda or MGW if I were you.

We have had a lot of success with our shifter ... many try to imitate ... but there is only one true Tri Ax Shifter.
You can check out one of many of the articles that was written about our Tri Ax shifter here:

There are many great reviews on line and from other forum members. Our shifter is made in the U.S.A. by the American Worker under ISO 9001-2008 standards. You won't be disappointed in the quality and fit of the product.
Send me an email to tim @ steeda.com if I can help you with placing an order.
Best Regards,
TJ
