The main reason I chose the "B" springs is that Ford made and engineered the vehicle, they should know what works best for the platform. The other main reason is that I have a badly angled driveway (in relation to the street) and lowering too much will cause scraping. The price is right, too - which doesn't hurt the pocketbook near as much! No, it doesn't lower much more than ~1 1/4" or so. (YMMV, of course.)
From what I've gathered across the interwebs, the following might help:
Model........................FrontRate(lb/in)....RearRate(lb/in)
'99-04 Mustang GT OEM............450.................210
Eibach ProKit Coupe............460-570.............200-250
Ford Motorsports B M-5300-B....425-530.............200-300
Ford Motorsports C M-5300-C......650...............200-300
H&R Sport......................490-575.............250-285
H&R SS Coupe 51652-77..........700-760.............275-300
Nothing wrong with the SS springs, they're just too stiff for my liking and the ultimate "end-game" for my car.
As for the tires, I'm running Nitto NT555's in the stock size (245/45/17). I'll upgrade the rears to 275/40/17 sometime later, but for now, it's all good.

seems like a pretty good list and i recommend doing the bump steer and x2 ball joints at a minimum if you are going that low on h&r. i have eibach pro kit with isos pulled in the front and it isnt terribly low but low enough i thought to put a bump steer and x2 ball joints in. I could and may go lower if i get rid of the car for daily driving. Bilsteins on all 4 corners too help a lot with the lower ride height. I have j&m rear lca that are height adjustable too. well worth looking into

@rwdfan The Nittos definitely have the better quality of the two. I'm not sure how they determine initial fitment, to be honest. As far as I could find, the biggest 18" in the back can be 305, and 265 in the front. Buying the tires and rims individually (to get the size you want) does not cost that much more, and if I could do it over again, I probably would forego the packages. I don't know if the same problem exists with 17" packages.
I've only had the new tires for a little over 2 months, and I still have plenty of tread left, despite making 500-mile trips to the beach and driving it daily. 18" wheels obviously don't last as long as 17", but unless you're drifting every corner and peeling out every red light, I think you can get some good life out of them.
@barqsdrinker My driveway is a fairly long hill, but at a consistent angle, so I think scraping won't be an issue. My main concern is being able to get a jack under the car for future modifications after it's dropped. At stock height, I'm already having trouble fitting my fat head under there, haha! Are you using isos as well? As far as the tires go, I can't recommend Nittos more; they're great! Fat tires in the back are definitely the way to go.
@luke1333 Ok, thanks! It makes sense, considering how drastically the drop will alter the steering geometry. If you have them in with Eibach & isos, I'll definitely put them in if I end up getting the H&R's.
Would you recommend a higher stance for daily driving, then?
